Poland Tourist Attractions

Poland is situated in central Europe and bordered Germany to the west; Slovakia and Czech Republic to the south. Eastern and northern border is shared by the Belarus, Lithuania and Baltic Sea. Population of Poland is about 34 million and that makes it the 38th most populous country in the world.Polish is the main language spoken in the Poland. Polish food is quite different from other European countries and it will attract more tourists towards Poland.

On the Baltic sea coastline in north-western Poland, a Tricity conurbation can be found with three great tourist spots - Sopot, a beautiful seaside destination; the port of Gdynia; and the emerging city of Gdansk.Even though Warsaw is a new city, it has number of tourist attractions. Warsaw university campus, Swiat Street and the presidential palace are some other notable places of historic importance.

Krakow, another major city of Poland, also has some really interesting landmarks. Krakow called as royal capital city of Cracow, is one of the largest and oldest cities of Poland. This ancient city is famous for cultural, artistic and scientific center. Krakow receives almost 2 million tourists from around the world every year. Krakow also has 28 museums. Indeed Krakow is worth a place to visit.

Warsaw is the main city and the capital of Poland. Situated on the banks of the river Vistula, Warsaw is spread over 172 square miles. Warsaw is thus, a unique blend of modern and old architectural styles. With an old world charm and a warm atmosphere, Warsaw stands out as a top haunt for tourists to Poland.
