New York City Attractions

Many families are staying close to home this year and vacationing in the United States instead of traveling abroad. There are several different little stores surrounding the bottom of the building that people frequent while they are waiting for the rest of their party to descend from the building in the clouds. Times Square is another famous part of this city that can not be missed. There are theaters and shops lining each side of the famous metal art fence that is seen in many shows. Broadway is a great place to be entertained for parents and the entire family. Ellis Island is a really special place, especially if a family's relatives got their start there. There are large boats that shuttle people back and forth to the island and there are knowledgeable tour guides who can tell visitors everything there is to know about the island and its purpose.

While New York may not be the first place you think of when it comes to fishing, there are a number of places where you can enjoy this uncommon tourist attraction. One place that is definitely off the beaten track is City Island, which is near the Bronx. Here you can fish and enjoy your catch over a hot plate. Other historical places that you will want to visit include Staten Island, Soho, or Greenwich Village.

There is a boat that takes people up close and in front of the falls and a walkway that people can walk behind a portion of them. People can view the falls from the top or the bottom and there is a nice little gift shop where people can purchase souvenirs to take back home with them.

The Statue of Liberty is another place a lot of people want to visit when they come to this unique city. Some people tour the famously large statue by helicopter and they can see other sites as well.
