Ireland Tourist Attractions

One or more of the four countries of United Kingdom is Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland has a great deal of scenic mountains and one of the most famous may be the Mourne Mountains. The water resources and networks are also a paradise in Northern Ireland. Several rivers and loughs ( lakes) like Bush River and Lough Neagh are scattered around the country where one particular can do cruising, fishing or travel around them via either walking or cycling.

The capital metropolis, Belfast, may be the household with the well known ship Titanic. The metropolis also hosts a large number of gourmet restaurants, chic bars and shopping centers.

The Walled City of Derry, the only surviving in Ireland, is one of the greatest walled- urban centers in Europe. The distinctive construction, popular walls and panoramic view of River Foyle charm lots of visitors. Cobh is a seaside town located on an island called 'The Great Island' in Southern Ireland. Cobh is situated in the second largest natural harbour in the world, Cork Harbour. The town has a lot to offer to tourists. Ireland is suffering the worst economic disaster in its history. Perhaps the Tourism Ireland authorities might design a tour of such sites.

The most daunting task a tourist might have in Ireland is selecting the attractions to visit. 'What should I not miss?' is a question most new tourists ask while traveling Ireland.
