Kenya Tourist Attractions

The suite of tourist attractions in Kenya is unmatched owing to the country's unsurpassed beauty and allure. Tourist attractions in Kenya are diverse and can take the visitor into the ocean depths, face to face with a pride of the world's largest and fiercest lions, or dancing in a circle with the fascinating Masai warriors.Crossing the meandering Mara River becomes a perilous danger with crocodiles waiting to snatch a meal or two.

Kenya has a lot to thank Mother Nature for. Look at the animal life, Kenya boasts as home to the big five. The most stunning tourist attraction site is the Masai Mara. This is home to the Seventh Wonder of the World. Every year, wildebeests leave the Serengeti in Tanzania and try to cross the Mara River to the Kenyan side. The Masai Mara is also home to the Masai People whose culture is famous all over the world. The Tsavo East and West is also a very stunning tourist attraction place. It is the biggest animal sanctuary in the country and almost all types of animals found in Kenya can be found here. The Lake Nakuru national park is home to almost all the major animals in the country. Watamu and Malindi beaches are also great places to visit. The rivers and lakes in the region are also a great tourist attraction. Visit the longest river in the country, river Tana and get a close view of Kenya's largest hydro electric power stations. Lake Victoria which is the second largest fresh water lake in the world is a great place to fish and its famous for its Nile Perch. Other great lakes to visit are the Lake Bogoria which is famous for its geysers and hot springs and Lake Baringo. Kenya is also home to the world's largest desert lake known as Lake Turkana or Rudolf which is in Northeastern Kenya.

Mount Kenya is also a stunning attraction site. Sacrifices and religious ceremonies were performed on the mountain.
